Sad3eq, It keeps disconnecting on my iphoneX I am a long time user of Astrill but I am sad to report that I won’t be renewing my subscription this year. Astrill has been gradually getting worse here in China and they know it themselves. Every time I am using it, it disconnects after 2-3 minutes and I have to exit the app and connect again. They increased the price to 99$ per year which used to be 69$. If they improved their service, I’d totally understand the increase but their service is worse than ever and the most expensive ever.
I’ll be checking other much much cheaper options next. If I’m gonna get really bad VPN, might as well pay the appropriate price.

My VPN never worked on my phone and computer and I asked for refund. They told me to download this and that, try this and that, back and forth with email exchanges and it didn't work.
In the end they still refused to return the rest of the months I haven't used. In case of strict censorship (i.e. Big international events in China like G20 or APEC), you can't connect to any VPN location from Astrill, this is proven from all the expats around me. So, try other VPNs (Express VPN, VPN Master etc), cheaper, more stable, faster, and definitely won't waste your time.

I'm a genuine customer about to renew for the 7th year - I have no issues with it. I get 3/4 of my 1Gbps speed and it stays connected for weeks at a time using a MAC. You get what you pay for and I am happy with that. I contacted support earlier today and got a reply by e-mail within minutes.
